The Diamond Dance Company: About Us

There is no try-out or qualification to become a member of the DDC, just a love of dance and music, and a love & testimony of the Savior. The members of Diamond Dance Company come from all walks of life, range in age from mid 20s to 50 years old, and live from Salt Lake to Spanish Fork! Dancers have varied experience, but most danced through college at the U of U, BYU, BYUI, or UVU, many as members of The Dancers' Company, CDT, Cougarettes, or Ballroom touring companies. We are stay-at-home mothers to professionals in the workplace. The singers have had excellent training and have also toured and performed all over, one even singing with Jericho Road previously! We usually keep about 10 performing dancers and 3 singers, but we encourage others interested to come and take class with us each week, as spots open periodically. We realize this group is NOT about us individually, but truly feel we volunteer our time and energies dedicated to making a program that is inviting to all, that is uplifting, and that hopefully draws women closer to the Savior through testimony, movement, and music.
